The play runs approximately 70 minutes without an intermission.

Tesla was a visionary scientist, an inventor and a unique kind of mystic. He saw energy as a flowing force that could bring a life of plenty to all mankind. He was also a very strange and obsessed man, famous for his quirks and eccentricities. He spent most of his time alone in his laboratories, emerging occasionally to host extravagant dinner parties and stun electrical engineers with his lectures and demonstrations.

If his alternating current induction motor changed the world, it was only the tip of the iceberg in terms of his contributions to our modern world. He said “the work of the scientific man is like that of the planter...to develop a relationship with nature and work towards the future”.

When Albert Einstein was asked how it felt to be the smartest man alive, he replied “I don’t know, you’ll have to ask Nikola Tesla.”
